Supporting Dogs in the Community

Protecting dogs and helping people.

Bowjangle has chosen three charities that are key to community life. If we don’t protect the lives of animals, this ultimately affects us all. All these charities rely heavily on support.

Bowangle will be donating 25p from every bow tie sold. Each charity will be featured for a set period throughout the year, our donation will be given to the charity featured.

If you would also like to make a direct donation to any of our 3 chosen charities, your support will be greatly appreciated.

Hearing Dogs For Deaf People

Train dogs to alert deaf people to everyday and life-saving sounds. Deafness can be a very isolating disability.  A hearing dog can give a deaf person a newfound sense of independence and confidence. The cost to train and support each hearing dog throughout their lifetime is £40,000.

Guide Dogs For The Blind & Partially Sighted

Their aim is to give every person with sight loss the confidence and support they need to live their lives to the full. Today they support 200,000 people and hope to increase this to 500,000 by 2023. £51.8 million was spent last year on breeding, puppy walking, training, partnership support and rehoming retired  dogs.

RSPCA
